There can be a lot of time and effort involved in finding the right embroidery business. When working with your local embroiderer, there are a couple of critical decisions to make - not just about price. When you're assigned the responsibility of ordering embroidered uniforms by your company, business partner, or spouse, you don't want to make the wrong decision and pay more and wait longer than necessary. Our goal at Uniform Me is to make this process as simple and straightforward as possible - all of our prices, including blank uniform costs, are listed on our website. It's for this reason that we have a team of designers who are specialized in this area. Simply complete the quote form, upload your logo, and let us know what products you need. You will receive an e-mail back with your custom mockup, which includes your logo on your chosen uniforms and a price quote. The embroidery of your organization's logo provides a classy and professional presentation. Using a computerised embroidery machine, your logo is stitched directly onto garments using different colour threads. You will need to "digitize" your logo in order for the machine to know where to stitch and what colours to use. To ensure you are satisfied with the final product, we send you a complete proof of what your logo will look like embroidered before production begins. Take a look at our recent gallery of clients who have chosen the embroidery option. Want to know how the embroidery process works? Click here to find out more. Small or large orders are no problem with this method, and your logo won't fade or wash away. Polos, Corporate or Workwear Jackets, Hi Vis Vests, Workwear Polos or Shirts, Aprons, Chef Hats, Chef Uniforms, Chef Jackets, and High Visibility PPE are the best uniforms to embroider. Combining an embroidered chest logo with a screen printed back logo helps your business get noticed. Some of our most popular brands are AS Colour, JB’s Wear, Winning Spirirt, Aussie Pacific, Hard Yakka, King Gee, Bisley, FXD.

With screen printing, you can attract the attention of many potential customers to your business, club, or brand.Screen printing offers a vibrant and louder way to present your company. Screen printing takes your logo and reproduces it via multi colours inks through the application of mesh screens to the garment.Want to know how the screen printing process works? Click here to find out more. Screen Printing is typically used on t-shirts, workwear polos and hoodies. Screen printing is the most cost-effective solution for high quantities and lower colours. For one (1) or two (2) colour printing, the minimum quantity is ten (10), but for three (3) or more colours, the minimum quantity is twenty (20). The number of colours used in printing determines the printing cost. If you stay within the allowed colours, screen printing gives you an A3 print area with no limitations on wording, logos, or other design elements. If your logo is primarily red and white, you can add your services, phone number, slogan, or a supplier's logo beneath it for no extra charge. Logo Design

Launching or refreshing your brand logo is a thrilling time for your business or sports club, but it requires careful attention to get the details just right.
Find out more
When creating a logo the big things matter (type of logo, colour selection using colour psychology), but so do the small (font selection, typography and placement). They all smartly combine to ensure your brand stands out from your competitors and tells a story of who you are. That’s why it’s a savvy move to rely on some expert help. Our brand logo creation process starts with our ‘getting-to-know-you’ survey. It includes questions about your business or club - who you are now and who you want to be. It also gives you an opportunity to advise us of any colours and concepts you want to incorporate. When you’re done, send it back to us and we can then tee up a convenient time to connect in person or virtually. At this collaborative meeting, we’ll present you with three different conceptual versions of your logo, including a main, long and icon variation. Because we want to get it just right, we include up to three logo revisions.

Our brand logo creation service includes:

  • ‘Getting to know you’ survey to uncover the unique things about your business or sporting club
  • In-person or virtual meeting to present three logo concepts (includes a main, long and icon logo variation)
  • Up to three revision rounds
  • Merchandise mock-up
  • Social media logo files

COTTON DRILL

Natural feel. Structured workwear.

A woven fabric for a traditional button-up work shirt, with practical chest pockets and a substantial feel.

  • Great for small embroidered chest logos
  • Absorbs moisture; generally slower to dry
  • 150gsm: lighter feel · 190gsm: heavier feel

POLYESTER POLOS

Light feel. Quick drying.

Moisture-wicking micro-mesh options for active teams who prefer an easy-care polo uniform.

  • Lightweight and comfortable for busy shifts
  • Quick-drying styles available
  • Print and heat compatibility checked first

Choose for the conditions

Do you need reflective tape?

It starts with when and where your team works. Bright fabric and reflective tape do different things—your site requirements determine the garment you need.

Daytime option

Non-taped hi-vis

High-visibility fabric helps a worker stand out in daylight. A garment rated for day use may be suitable when the worksite permits it.

  • Consider for daytime work where tape is not required
  • More uninterrupted fabric for logo placement
  • Check the garment label and site policy
Day & night options

Reflective-tape hi-vis

Reflective tape returns light towards its source, such as vehicle headlights. Choose the required night or day/night rating when work conditions or site rules call for it.

  • Relevant to night work and many traffic-exposed sites
  • Match the tape layout and garment rating to your site
  • Keep branding clear of reflective bands

Not sure which one your team needs?

Send us your site specification, current product code or a photo of the garment label. We will help narrow down the range.

Digital transfer explained

Full colour and fine detail without extra screens.

Embroidery – EMB

A professional chest logo. A durable everyday finish.

Our preferred option for a premium stitched logo on suitable polos, work shirts, jumpers, caps and beanies.

?

Placement options

  • Left chest ?
  • Right chest ?

?

Thin vests need a fabric check. Lightweight mesh and thin vest fabrics may pucker with dense stitching. We can adjust the design or recommend printing instead.

!

Keep large back designs for printing. Dense embroidery can feel heavy, add cost and reduce the visible hi-vis fabric area. Waterproof layers also need a separate check because stitching can affect the protective shell.

Screen printing - SCRN

Bold printing for repeat team orders.

A durable print option for clear logos on suitable polos, drill shirts, jumpers and vests. Taped garments have smaller available print areas.

Pockets and tape need careful positioning. Printing above a pocket can take extra setup and loading time. Our guided laser system helps position each garment accurately, and your quote allows for the selected print area.

!

Caps and beanies are better suited to embroidery. Curved cap panels, centre seams and stretch knit make direct screen printing less practical. For coated outerwear, we check the fabric first and may recommend a compatible transfer.

Digital printing - DGTL

Full colour, fine detail and smaller runs.

A flexible heat-applied solution for detailed logos and many colours. It is generally less durable than embroidery or screen printing; repeated washing can eventually cause fading, cracking or lifting.

Placement options

?

Check caps, vests and heat-sensitive fabrics. Foam or suitable cotton cap fronts with an uninterrupted panel are better starting points. Centre seams, curved surfaces, coatings and reflective tape can limit a transfer’s adhesion and placement.

!

Choose embroidery for knitted beanies. Stretch and textured fibres can make heat-applied transfers harder to bond and keep looking consistent. We also confirm polyester colour migration and coating compatibility before applying heat.

A few useful answers

Plan your hi-vis order with confidence.

Does every hi-vis garment need reflective tape?

No. A day-rated non-taped garment may suit daytime work when your worksite allows it. Night work and some sites require a specific reflective-tape layout or day/night-rated garment. Check your employer’s site requirements before selecting the style.

Can you print or embroider on reflective tape?

We keep branding off the tape. The logo size and position must also leave the required high-visibility fabric area available. Taped shirts usually have a smaller uninterrupted print panel, so we confirm the artwork on your exact garment before production.

What is the difference between 150gsm and 190gsm cotton drill?

Gsm means grams per square metre: the weight of the fabric. A 150gsm shirt generally feels lighter; 190gsm has a heavier, more substantial feel. The weave, ventilation, cut and product construction also affect comfort. Neither weight on its own establishes a safety rating.

Is cotton or polyester better for our team?

Cotton drill is a useful starting point for a structured work shirt and natural-fibre feel. Moisture-wicking polyester polos are light, quick drying and easy care. Tell us about the work, climate and site requirements so we can recommend the right option or a suitable blend.

Are hi-vis jumpers waterproof?

Ordinary fleece jumpers and hoodies are warm layers, not waterproof rainwear. We also supply wet-weather jackets with product-specific waterproof ratings and seam construction. We can help you compare rain protection, warmth and the best way to add your logo.

Which branding method should I choose?

Embroidery is a premium choice for small chest logos and headwear. Screen printing offers strong value for larger quantities and back logos. Digital transfers suit detailed, colourful designs and smaller runs. Fabric, tape, pockets and artwork determine the final recommendation.

Can I combine different garments in one order?

Yes. We can quote a complete range including polos, drill shirts, jumpers, jackets, vests, caps, beanies and printed T-shirts. Decoration minimums depend on the logo, method and garment combination, so include the full mix in your enquiry.

Can you match the uniforms we already use?

Send us your current supplier brand, product code, colours, logo and a photo if you have one. We will check availability and recommend the closest match where a style has changed or is no longer available.

Can we review artwork and an embroidery sample first?

Yes. We check your artwork and placement before production. For first embroidery orders, a photograph of a real stitched sample is emailed for approval, so you can see how the design translates into thread.

Can staff check sizes before ordering?

Yes. Compare selected styles and available sizes at our Edinburgh showroom, or request blank samples for a qualifying team order. Start with a few products, then arrange a size set for your chosen styles. Shipping fees apply, including further fitting-set deliveries. Perth sample deliveries use a flat fee at the same rate as Adelaide sample deliveries; eligibility and charges are confirmed before dispatch.

What are the minimum quantities and lead times?

Embroidery generally starts from 8 items, with some brands and products requiring more. Screen printing starts from 20 one-colour items; additional colours affect the minimum. Stock, artwork approval and payment determine the production timeline. Include your required date so we can confirm it before you order.

Do you deliver Australia-wide?

Yes. We produce in Edinburgh, South Australia, and deliver across Australia. Perth uniform orders of $999 + GST or more qualify for free standard shipping. Sample deliveries are charged separately, with a flat sample shipping fee for Perth at the same rate as Adelaide sample deliveries. Local pickup from our Edinburgh showroom is also available.
